About Dr. A
Dr. Arteaga is originally from a small Texas border town. After high school, he served five years in the U.S. Marine Corps. An experience that shaped his clinical understanding of physical demands, injury management, and long-term movement health.
After experiencing and witnessing overlooked injuries in physically demanding roles, he decided to dedicate his career to helping people recover properly and move with confidence. He earned a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy from Texas State University in 2018. Soon after he attended Parker University earning his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2021. For the past four years, he has been serving the San Antonio community.
Dr. Arteaga is a rehab-focused chiropractor with extensive experience treating post-operative patients as well as a wide range of extremity and spinal conditions. He believes in active, movement-based therapy supported by skilled hands-on care. His one-on-one treatment approach may include soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization or manipulation, dry needling, and individualized rehabilitation and strength programs designed to restore function, reduce pain, and improve long-term performance.
